WHOS BEHIND THIS
Bhavna Sehgal
Executive Alignment Advisor
A decade into a strategy consulting career advising leadership teams inside global technology and consulting organizations, I stepped away – at what should have been the highest point of my career – for several years of direct study into why some leaders hold steady under real pressure and others don’t.
The Coherence Way is what I built once I understood it well enough to give it to someone else.
What the Strategy Never Fixed
Ten years as a strategy consultant, advising senior leaders across financial services, telecom, and technology – first running large-scale change engagements for major financial institutions and telecom companies, then leading strategic initiatives for a global technology company.
I sat in the room for work that was supposed to fix how leadership teams operate. And I watched it fail, over and over, in the exact same place: not on the page, but the moment real pressure hit. Smart plans. Approved plans. Stalled anyway – old habits, competing agendas, a room gone defensive the second the stakes went up.
So I left. At the top. To go find out why. Not from another strategy deck – from the inside. What I found became The Coherence Way, and it goes deeper than a new way to think.

THE METHOD
The Coherence Way
I built this practice because I watched brilliant executives do everything right… coaching, therapy, books, retreats… and still burn out, still stall in the same board conversations, still lead from force instead of clarity. The work was never in what they knew. It was in how they operated under pressure.
It’s not a philosophy, either. It’s a structured process. The Coherence Way maps the specific pressures, habits, and defaults that built how you currently operate as a leader – the patterns that formed under stress and are still quietly running the show in every high-stakes decision you make.
Once those patterns are visible, we change them, deliberately, through a repeatable process, not through willpower. The goal was never to help you manage the symptoms of stress forever. It’s to trace the symptom back to its root and clear it at the source. That’s when how you operate changes, not just how you cope. And from there, options open up that weren’t available to you before. Decisions that used to take real effort start to come more easily.
In practice: less friction in decision-making, more capacity without the burnout tax, and a presence in the room that people respond to without you having to push for it.
If this is the piece that’s been missing from the leadership work you’ve already done, let’s talk.
Mindset coaching addresses what people think. The Coherence Way addresses how they operate under pressure – and mindset work holds far better once those underlying patterns are changed first.
