Desire Real Growth? It’s Time To Abandon Your Story.

Let go of your story to release the past.

Each of us has a story, a past. Our stories define the kind of people we show up as. Our stories define our present and future if we choose. Some of us harness the power of our stories to build a better life and inspire others, while many of us become trapped by our experiences. In both cases, we find we create our future through the reference of our past.

Through this post, I will help you understand why you need to let go of your story.

In my quest to become boundless, I’ve realized the necessity of releasing my own story. This is why I refrain from delving into the details of my past. I share personal examples only when they help my clients recognize and understand deep-seated patterns that influence their present reality. However, I do not glorify my own past. Instead, I learn from what happened and I make sure to make every effort to prevent the story from being repeated.

In fact, my personal mission is to completely break from the patterns of my past. So I can create a life out of free will, instead out of destiny. And that is why I am dedicated to healing every aspect of myself, letting go of the threads from my past that continue to shape who I am today.

The question you need to ask yourself is “How attached am I to my past? And why?”

What is your story?

Before you can begin to imagine what letting go of your story looks like, I encourage you to reflect on what your story has been so far. Start by spending just five minutes a day contemplating your life and relationships. Evaluate these key areas:

  1. Your relationship with God, Science, or a Higher Power.
  2. Your relationship with your parents.
  3. Your relationships with siblings, friends, and colleagues.
  4. Your relationship with money, assets, liabilities, and opportunities.
  5. Your relationship with your potential, abilities, and talents.
  6. Your relationship with your partner or spouse.
  7. Your relationship with your body and its senses.
  8. Your relationship with nature, animals, food, air, and water.

Let’s begin here. By understanding your relationships with your environment, you’ll start to uncover the deeper patterns shaping your reality.

Consider questions like: Do you frequently argue with people, or are you generally well-liked? Do you spend money impulsively, or are you extremely frugal? Are you more likely to accept gifts and compliments easily, or do you feel uncomfortable with them? What kind of conversations do you have with friends? Do you tend to avoid social situations, due to which you also experience anxiety in larger groups? How do you think other people perceive you and do you wish to change that perception? At the end of the day, do you want to feel tired and exhausted or calm and ready to recharge?

Reflecting daily on these aspects will help you understand the threads of your past that are creating your present story.

Do you want a transform your story?

After completing this minimalist reflection exercise, have you identified areas in your life that need healing, change, or transformation?

If your answer is yes, it might be time to let go of the narrative you tell yourself daily about who you are and why. The first step is understanding the aspects of your identity that shape your life.

Changing your story means changing the identity you wear every day. Eventually, you’ll want to be left with an identity that no longer reflects your past. This doesn’t mean you lose your connections; it depends on how you choose to move forward. What will change is your relationship with yourself, which will, in turn, influence your relationships with others.

I help clients upgrade their identities by helping them realize and transform the events that created those identities.

Transformation is just a session away. Book your initial consult today. A session with me will help you understand how your life will transform after the work we do together. I will help you understand how you can recognize your patterns and you will experience a timeline shift during our session.
